SinusLeistungsSteller - SLS Development/2010 |
In this section we provide frequently news on development and progress ... Details about the SLS are found here (click...) 01.12.2010: We moved! Our new address is:
Ing.-Büro Rolf Zimmermann Industriestraße 7 97297 Waldbüttelbrunn Tel. +49 (0) 931 780 11 030 04.11.2010: Our first galvanic insulated USB-Seriell-Adapters (USI) are ready. By that we avoid a ground-loop between SLS and PC and remove the occasionally appearing transmission-errors (especially at long connections). The "USI" supplies itself completely via the PC USB interface. This means no supply-voltage is needed from the outside. (the external seriell side is supplied via a internal DCDC-converter from the USB side). The components used, allow a safe galvanic insulation up to a DC-voltage of 1.000V and a speed up to 115.2kBd. We will also exchange all old USB-Seriell-Adapter without galvanic insulation for free. Currently we have a limited amount of new adapters - for this reason, please contact us before you send us your old adapter/s for exchange! By the way: In the meantime our office moves to larger premises. And we apologize for any contact and reachability problems! We will publish our new address and phone numbers here on the hompage as sonn as we have moved, however our e-mail-address(es) remains the same. ![]() 08.10.2010: ... again a new software add-on: starting from V1.420 the SLS trace memory can be configured as a ring-buffer. Now, even at high recording rates (10 sample/s) a 45 minutes run-time period is available for diagnostic purposes - older data will be overwritten with new data in a loop. The selection between ring- and sequential buffer (the standard before) can be done over the appropriate parameter in the SLS-Windows-monitor (menu option: "parameter->SLS"). For this SLS-firmware V1.420 or higher is required. As always, the present software for monitor and firmware can be found at the download-area... 22.09.2010: Recently some customers had problems regarding the usage of the SLS. To prevent others from making the same mistakes and to provide additional help, we summarized all in the following document
Important Notes for Installation and Commissioning.PDF
![]() 24.08.2010: The new firmware allows now simultanously a graphic display of the motor-operation point in the status window of the monitor-software. Essentially it is a RPM-/torque-curve, but the torque is displayed as a directly measured AC-current. For the motoric (+Aac) as well as for the generatoric operation (-Aac) a quadrant is shown with the limitations of RPM and AC-current set. Additionly a theoretical motor-limit is displayed (outer, rounded curve), which is calculated by motor-specific values and the present DC-voltage. The current hardware only allows a linearization of the actual limit, because of missing computing power - with the new hardware we want to open-up the not yet available area of the motor curve. The complete view takes place dynamically - that means, not only the operation point (red), but also the theoretical motor-limit (depending on Udc) and the limits set will be tracked (e.g. in the case of derating, because of overtemperature or over-/undervoltage). The lime-green area is in accordance with the controller limits (here it was a SLS-60-100); the dark-green area shows the actual usable workspace (here with a limit on 75Aac motorically and -50Aac generatorically or 5000 RPM). This way the user can immediately see what is going on. The activation of the graphic display represents an ideal tool for a precise motor configuration. The feature is bound to SLS-hardware and can be activated via the appropriate option. ![]() 24.08.2010: The new Windows-monitor update to version 1.411 is now ready for download. The transmission from version 1.3xxx to 1.411 made a change within the parameter-set inevitable (*.SLC). the Windows-monitor V1.411 works only with firmware/parameter V1.4 and higher. Parameters, created with V1.3, need to be recoded to V1.4. These parameters need to be saved in a *.SLC-file and send over via e-mail before updating. The recoded parameter files are sent back by us immediately, of course the whole process is completely free! ... Development 2009 ... (click here...) |
