SinusLeistungsSteller - SLS Development/2015 |
In this section we provide frequently news on development and progress ... Details about the SLS are found here (click...) 30.04.2015: As a first step towards our next generation of sine-controllers we want to give first impressions of µSLR-24-36 prototype. ... we are sure its size is near the optimum that´s possible with available technology! The µSLR-24-36 works with supply voltage from 5.0Vdc to 27Vdc (2 to 6S-LiPo) and can handle up to 36Aac of phase current. This means a maximum power of more than 800W. The cooling concept enables this to be continuous power. Further (the "R" in µSLR... indicates it) this prototype is powered by a much more powerfull µC core and a new developed firmware. Now things like fieldweakening, sensorless controlled RPM down to zero with full torque, reversing direction and the frequently requested CAN-bus are possible now! In a second step of development, auto-tuning for the motor parameters will be implemented. An optional 3 HALL-sensor interface for rotor position detection and some additional I/O for future externals are already implemented. With only 62,3g the µSLR-24-36 is a lightweight compared to cSLSi or SLSi. But that´s not the end! Imagine a version with less current µSLR-24-18, the alu-case (15g) can be replaced by one of plastic and the 2.5mm² wires can be done with reduced cross-section. A total weight of less than 40g should be possible... The alu-case (40,0 x 40,0 x 14,5mm), which also acts as a heat spreader, can be mounted to an external heat sink via 4 fixings. Alternatively these fixings can also be used to attach a 40mm fan. Now we are pushing the development of the µSLR-firmware: fieldweakening and sensorless controlled RPM down to zero with full torque are already implemented, but not tested completely. Many peripheral function implementation still has to be done - e.g. current profile, CAN-bus-module, etc. Also the SLS-Windows-Monitor doesn´t yet support the new µSLR. But we are confident to ship first pre-series samples to beta-testers within the 2nd half-year of 2015. 10.01.2015: The english version of this site is available now!
