SinusLeistungsSteller - motor adjustment |
Motor Adjustment: We already mentioned, that the SLS can not operate instantly after plugged. First the SLS must be properly set up and matched on the motor. Aside from the nominal values (rated speed, rated voltage, rated current) additional motor constants play an important role, e.g. motor inductance, motor resistance or the specific voltage induced. From the drive train the inertia torque should be approximately known, to enable a stable derating of the desired speed without overswinger. The basic adjustance of the motor or drive train is done by us in the laboratory. Our orginal intention to let the end customer do the adjustment, led to difficulties and failures through grossly misplaced parameters. In general it is enough if the selected motor is being provided. For "tricky" configurations we reserve the right to configure the parameters under power. The basic adjustance needs to be done only once for each motor type and is provided in form of a (*.SLC) file, which can be loaded on other SLS of the same type. Planned is a new automatic tuning function to enable the user an easier and clear set of parameters and therefore easier operation. After a basic adjustment the motor can be matched further (e.g. RPM-, voltage-, and temperature limits). This is accomplished by the SLS-windows-monitor (->download area). |
